Can I hire a bike without a guide?

No. Our bikes are available only as part of a guided tour.

Can I bring my own bike?

Yes. Choose a guide-only tour: R1,500 at Tokai or R2,300 at our out-of-town venues, per person.

What is the difference between the Tokai and out-of-town prices?

The Tokai price applies to Tokai MTB Trails. The out-of-town price covers Hoogekraal, Contermanskloof, Jonkershoek, Banhoek and Oak Valley.

Are helmets and gloves included?

Yes. We supply a helmet, gloves and a cage-mounted bottle of water on every tour.

Can I use my own pedals or clipless shoes?

Our bikes come with flat pedals. Shimano SPD pedals are available on request, but we don’t supply cleated shoes.

Do you have e-bikes?

Yes. We have six Hybridizer SANN e-MTBs.

How many riders are in a group?

Private bookings, or small groups of up to six riders per guide.

Do the prices include trail permits?

No. We arrange them in advance and charge them at cost on top of the tour price.
